2019 Curriculum Implementation Summary
All of NYS Dept. of Health's CAPP (Comprehensive Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention) funded Projects utilize various evidence-based curriculums for sexual health education. Cornell University's 'Act for Youth' provides instruction and evaluation of curriculum implementation. We use the 'Making Proud Choices' curriculum. Here's a comparison of other Projects' usage of this curriclum to ours at ACT. Yes, in 2019 we instructed 722 youth on 'Making Proud Choices'!
As we continue to schedule our services in Health classrooms for this school year, we also participate in many educational and community opportunities / events.
